FERRO SPORT® is a nutritional supplement containing Iron, Folic acid, and buffered Vitamin C. Organic iron, present in FERRO SPORT®, is better tolerated and more bioavailable than inorganic iron. FERRO SPORT® contains buffered Vitamin C, improving overall iron absorption. The inclusion of folic acid in this formula acts synergistically with iron and optimizes the utilization of iron transported into the cell.

FERRO SPORT® is specifically formulated for sportsmen and women who have symptoms of iron deficiency or suboptimal ferritin status. This product is beneficial in combination with a nutritionally balanced diet, for individuals with increased susceptibility to iron deficiency (i.e. intensely training athletes, endurance athletes, athletes involved in sports experiencing “foot strike haemolysis”, vegetarians, pregnant or lactating women, women experiencing heavy menses, etc.).

Empty the contents of one sachet into a glass, add water, stir thoroughly and drink immediately. Consume one sachet per day, separate from meal times on an empty stomach.

Sweetener: sorbitol, iron pyrophosphate (fatty acid esters, lecithin, maltodextrin), vitamin C (ascorbic acid), vitamin E acetate (DL alpha tocopheryl acetate, gelatin), orange flavoring, coloring: turmeric, cochineal, sweetener: sucralose, folic acid.

Warnings Supplements must not be taken as a substitute for a balanced diet. Don’t exceed the recommended daily allowance. Consumption of this product is contraindicated for individuals who are hypersensitive to iron. It contains polyalcohols - excess consumption may cause mild laxative effects. Keep out of reach of children less than 3 years of age. Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. The expiry date is conditional to the product remaining sealed and stored under the recommended storage conditions.
