FerroSport® i is a food supplement of Iron, Folinic acid, and protected Vitamin C.
The optimal biochemical muscular functioning is strictly correlated to mioglobin in the muscle, and requires a continuous supply of highly bioavailable iron. Inorganic iron is poorly absorbable, whilst chelated iron present in FerroSport®, mimicking what happens in nature, is more bioavailable to the human organism and is better tolerated than inorganic iron. The association with folinic acid results into the same therapeutic efficacy of folic acid yet with lower dosages: this optimizes the utilization of iron vehicled into the cell.
FerroSport® also contains protected vitamin C, antioxidant maintaing iron at its bivalent oxidation state (ferrous): this oxidation state has a great biological value, as it makes iron optimally bioavailable.
